NC ranks 3rd best place in the nation to do business

There’s a magazine out there called the Chief Executive magazine that follows CEO’s and their opinions on which states offer the best places to do business. Well NC came up a notch this year over last to 3rd place. It comes as no surprise that the CEO’s placed states with no income tax at the top – Texas & Nevada took first and second place. But what I found interesting is even though they rank states with no or low income tax – they criticize the school systems and called for better infrastructure. I can’t talk about the rest of the state but here in Wake County I think our school system has done a great job. With the influx of new students each year Wake works hard to keep up and they keep building!

Here’s the full story for the Chief Executive’s fourth annual “Best & Worst States” survey.
